Bluesox were the first to get on the board in the first when Sammy Burman doubled, scoring one run.
Sam Wright earned the win for Bluesox. The starter gave up two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking one. Tyler August took the loss for Knights. The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering three runs on three hits, striking out eight and walking two. Luke D’ambrosia collected the save.
Sam Wright led Bluesox with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The pitcher went 1-for-3 on the day. Sammy Burman went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Bluesox in hits. Jack Bateman led Bluesox with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Adam Fine stole two bases. Bluesox stole five bases in the game.
Andrew Firko, Dom Cafera, Brandon Grygo, and Chase Flemming each collected one hit for Knights. Brandon Grygo went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Knights were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Tyler Satterfield made the most plays with 11.
