
Chris Rollins threw a shutout to lead Bluesox past Wayne Baseball 3-0 on Wednesday at Devon Preparatory School.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Bluesox pitchers struck out four, while Wayne Baseball sat down six.
Bluesox were the first to get on the board in the second when Christian Strickland doubled, scoring one run.
Jasper Hals took the loss for Wayne Baseball. The hurler went four innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on five hits, striking out three and walking four.
Bluesox piled up 10 hits in the game. Sammy Burman and Chase each collected two hits for Bluesox. Christian Strickland and Ant Kelly each drove in one run for Bluesox. Bluesox didn’t commit a single error in the field. Christian Strickland had the most chances in the field with four.
Jake McDonough, Steven Wells, and Alden Mathes each collected one hit for Wayne Baseball.
Bluesox will travel to Narberth Outsiders for their next game on Thursday.
