Adam Fine grounded out, which helped Bluesox tie the game at two in the bottom of the third.
Bluesox flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on two hits to take the lead, 7-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a line out by Brendan Till that drove in two.
Kevin McGovern stepped on the hill first for Bluesox. The starting pitcher surrendered four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out four and walking two. Nick Williamson opened the game for Chester Baseball Delco League. The hurler surrendered two hits and seven runs (four earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out three and walking three.
Christian Strickland, Fine, and Andrew Lube-solic each collected one hit for Bluesox. Fine went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Fine stole two bases. Bluesox were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Joey Suppa made the most plays with six.
Offitt and Hertzfeld each drove in one run for Chester Baseball Delco League. Ben Ettien led Chester Baseball Delco League with two hits in two at bats.
Bluesox will travel to Springfield Pirates for their next game on Tuesday.
