Big Third Inning Leads Bluesox Past Black Sox

Bluesox scored four runs in the third inning, which helped them defeat Black Sox 7-1 on Tuesday at Church Road Park. Brendan Till singled, scoring one run, a passed ball scored one run, Jake Virbitsky grounded out, scoring one run, and Ant Kelly doubled, scoring one run.

Chris Rollins earned the win for Bluesox. The starter surrendered two hits and one run over seven innings, striking out seven and walking three. Lucas Rothstein took the loss for Black Sox. The pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, giving up seven runs (six earned) on four hits, striking out four and walking five.

Adam Fine, Ant Kelly, Brendan Till, Gus Wright, and Tamiem Mosley each collected one hit for Bluesox. Adam Fine led Bluesox with three runs batted in. The right fielder went 1-for-4 on the day.

Tom Carey and Jayden Davis each collected one hit for Black Sox. Tom Carey went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.
