Bluesox won big over Chester Baseball Delco League 8-0 on Thursday.
An error put Bluesox on the board in the bottom of the first.
Bluesox added two runs in the third after Ant Kelly doubled down the left field line.
Kevin McGovern earned the win for Bluesox. The pitcher surrendered four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out six and walking none. Nick Williamson took the loss for Chester Baseball Delco League. The pitcher went three innings, giving up four runs (two earned) on three hits, striking out five and walking four.
Adam Fine and Ant Kelly each collected two hits for Bluesox. Ant Kelly and Jake Virbitsky each drove in two runs for Bluesox. Bluesox turned one double play in the game. Bluesox were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Christian Strickland made the most plays with six.
Shane Benedict, Vincent Offutt, Garrett Overby, and Nick Remo each collected one hit for Chester Baseball Delco League.
