UD BLUESOX

Kevin McGovern was dominant on the mound, as the starting pitcher rang up 13 strikeouts in Bluesox’s 5-0 victory over Black Sox on Friday at 901 Morton Ave, Folsom, PA 19033. McGovern gave up zero hits and zero runs over seven innings while walking two.

Bluesox jumped out to the lead in the top of the fourth inning after Christian Strickland singled, scoring one run, Ant Kelly doubled, scoring two runs, and Jack Bateman singled, scoring one run. Jac Campbell took the loss for Black Sox. The hurler went four innings, surrendering four runs on four hits, striking out four and walking none. Kelly drove the middle of the lineup, leading Bluesox with two runs batted in. Kelly went 2-for-3 on the day. Adam Fine stole two bases. Bluesox didn’t commit a single error in the field. Strickland had the most chances in the field with 13.
